Beginnings is a series of photographs which inspired me to write the beginning to stories, without actually going ahead and writing the complete stories. The notion sprang up while I was looking at the image used in The Lookout and flashed on Manderley.
There is a wonderful book by Chris van Allsburg I read in 2004, The Mysteries of Harris Burdick. The book consists of intriguing drawings and text that begins, but does not complete, stories for each. So, I guess this is a ripoff of an homage to that wonderful book.
I wanted to separate out images Wilkes Barre and environs from the broader set, thus this. Visually, I preferred for it to appear as a separate item on the top menu, rather than as a sub of the original Beginnings page.
